Attendance
Attendance Matters! Please try to have your student attend all school days that they are able to and have them arrive on time each day. Please become familiar with Fulton County's Attendance Policy.
If your child is going to be absent, please send an email to dolvinattendance@fultonschools.org. The email should include your child's legal first and last name and the reason for the absence. Vacation/travel days are not automatically excused days.
If you are seeking a day off for your student due to something that is not included in the policy, you may choose to have the absence Pre-Approved or use a Remote Learning Day.
Pre-Approved Days - Please contact Robyn Boateng at boatengr@fultonschools.org at least one week prior to the absence. A student can use six of these pre-approved days per year.
Remote Learning Days - Fill out the Remote Learning Days Request form and submit it to the student's teacher. Your child may use 5 Remote Learning Days per semester. The teacher must receive this form at least 3 school days in advance of the absence. The teacher will provide work for the days missed. The work must be turned in within 2 days of your child's return. The attendance is only updated upon the attendance office receiving the completed form from the teacher.
If your child misses ten consecutive school days, they will be withdrawn. They can be re-enrolled upon their return. The same teacher/schedule cannot be guaranteed. No work will be given during the un-enrolled period of time.
